Price Makes Incredible Behind-the-Back Save

Carey Price is no stranger to making interesting and unique stops, and he can add another to the list from Saturday night.
With about 8:30 remaining in the second period, with the Canadiens leading 2-0 over the New York Islanders, Price robbed Matt Martin with an incredible save.
Reaching back, Price was able to steal the puck before it crossed the goal line. The rebound from the initial shot was directed right onto Martin’ stick, but he wasn’t able to get a very strong shot off. That extra time allowed Price to track it, and spin around with his glove to corral it.
Martin isn’t exactly known as a sniper, reaching his career high of 8 goals this season, but that doesn’t take away from the save. Carey Price has had a fantastic season, and this is just another highlight on what may be an MVP season for the Canadiens netminder.
