It was in 2017 when InGoal's Paul Campbell first proposed that November 1st be recognized as Goalie Day. It is a fitting time to recognize all those who play the greatest position in the game as it was on that day in 1959 that Jacques Plante first put on a mask in the NHL, changing the game forever.
