Edmonton Oilers Devan Dubnyk and Jeff Deslauriers Pre-Game Skate

Enjoy a few shots from the Oilers pre-game skate on Saturday in Calgary. Devan Dubnyk, a native of Saskatchewan, was a first round draft choice in 2004, 14th overall. He started the game against Calgary and had a long night, giving up six goals in the loss to the Flames.

Of course he finds time for some goaltending of his own as well, and despite his age, clings desperately to the idea that some NHL team will call him to play for them - though in his mid-forties (OK, late 40s) it'll likely be for a practice when everyone else on their depth chart has the flu and the shooter tutor has gone in for repairs.

I like both goalie’s pads. Then again, I’m liking the gold, white and black colour combo.

    GO SAINTS!!! LOL.
