Tuukka Rask
Tuukka Rask was trying to stop his own losing streak (0-4-2) dating back to Dec. 30. Rask was given an early 2-0 lead but was unable to hold off the resilient Canucks. Vancouver goals were scored by Mason Raymond (21) in the second period and Pavol Demitra (1) in the third. Demitra also scored the only goal of the shootout.
Rask (10-7-2) stopped 29 of 31 shots.

Roberto Loungo
Luongo and the Canucks, in the midst of the longest road trip in NHL history, made their only stop in Boston this season count. Boston started the scoring early with two first period power play goals by Zdeno Chara (5) and Michael Ryder (13) but couldn’t find the back of the net the rest of the game. Luongo stopped 41 shots including 3 in the shootout.
This was Luongo’s 30th win (30-15-2), his fifth consecutive 30 win season.
