UNH vs Acadia
The Acadia Axemen traveled down from Nova Scotia to Durham, New Hampshire to take on the UNH Wildcats in a preseason scrimmage this past Saturday. UNH looked to be in mid season form already with an 8-1 win. Here’s some of my favorite shots from the game.
Goalie Michael Chaisson, Acadia
The sophomore goalie from Cole Harbour, NS played the first 2 periods and stopped 19 of 25 shots. The first picture, my favorite of the night, reminds me of the old days in the Boston Garden. When the weather turned humid a fog would develop on the ice creating a surreal effect during the game. This is just what happened during the second period of the game.

Goalie Brian Foster, UNH
Brian Foster, last years most valuable player for the Wildcats, was up to the task of keeping the puck out of the net for UNH. During his 49 minutes of play he stopped 14 of 15 shots on goal by the Axemen.
Perfect Focus.
