    I would put a high quality C/A right after the high quality mask to allow young goalies feel confident and not be shy about pucks flying at them.

      GREAT point. I’ve seen beginners sent out in their forwards shoulder pads “because young kids can’t raise the puck” … but your point holds true all the way up.
