CT Crease was founded in 2002 by Dan Stewart, and has continued to offer personalized training to goaltenders of all ages. We believe that no goaltender is the same, and that it is important to develop each individuals skills and personality. Our ultimate goal is to create the best version of each goaltender that steps on the ice with us. Our staff is comprised of full time coaches, as well as former students. Each camp is specialized to the group and individual needs. No “manual” required! Key points of emphasis include – Skating – Save Selection – Reading the play – Patience – And most importantly FUN This summer we will be offering 3 different camps. FULL DAY CAMP August 4- 8 and 11-15 Northford Ice Pavilion Our Full Day camp will last from 9a-3p Mon-Fri. Each day consists of an hour “goalies only” session and 2 hours with the CT Selects camp. Partnering with the Selects allows for goalies to see real game situations in a controlled setting. This camp also features a video review session and off ice NIGHT CAMP August 18-21 Northford Ice Pavilion Night camp is a goalies only camp Mon-Thurs from 7-9p. Each session features a “mass teach” and stations tailored to the age and ability of the goalies. Groups of 3 or less per coach is always the standard. Topics of discussion will include -Skating -Save Selection -Puck Handling ELITE WEEK July 28-Aug 1 Northford Ice Pavilion Elite Week is the perfect opportunity for the high level goalie to reach their potential. This camp is for High School, Prep, Junior, College and Pro goalies. Each day consists of 2 hours of ice, an off ice session and classroom sessions. High level, age appropriate shooters make for a high intensity and fun atmosphere. Classroom sessions will provide an in depth discussion on reading the play and making good decisions. Past speakers have also included sports psychologists, college and pro coaches, equipment manufacturers and more. Each participant will receive a camp jersey, T shirt and other apparel.
