  • Peoria Riverman Manny Legace talks about his attitude adjustment upon being waived by the St. Louis Blues and sent to Peoria a couple of months ago. Legace fended off 27 of 28 shots and two 3-on-5 penalty kills tonight to get the 3-1 win over Houston. (WMBD/WYZZ-TV)

  • Rochester Amercians find a gem in call-up David Shantz.  (Rochester Democrat & Chronicle) He’s stopped a total of 92 saves in the last two games for Rochester. (LetsGoAmerks.com)
  • San Antonio Rampage are out of the playoff hunt after a difficult November ruined their season, but their goaltending as been a bright spot, with duties shared between Josh Tordjman, Al Montoya, and Karl Goehring. Also, Tordjman recalls his NHL experience this season and playing against Martin Brodeur. (Rampage with Tony U.)

  • The Pittsburgh Penguins signed Northeastern goalie and Hobey Baker Award finalist Brad Thiessen to a two-year contract and will send him to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. (Penguins Insider)
  • Rochester signed Miguel Beaudry to a PTO to back up Shantz. (Rochester Transactions)
  • Marc Denis was reassigned to Hamilton by the Montreal Canadiens. (Hamilton Transactions)
