InGoal Radio Feature Interview: Mathieu Garon (Video)

Once again we bring our Members an early release on video of next week’s feature interview for InGoal Radio.

Mathieu Garon played 341 NHL games between 2000-2001, when he played 11 games for his “hometown” Montreal Canadiens, and his final season in 2012-13 with the Tampa Bay Lightning. In between he spent time in Edmonton, Pittsburgh (winning the Stanley Cup as backup to Marc-Andre Fleury), Los Angeles and Columbus. This wide-ranging interview covers his beginnings in net, his career, life as a “full-right” goaltender, a stop in the KHL, being released by an NHL team that didn’t want two full-right goalies on the roster and his work now back in Tampa.

The feature interviews on InGoal Premium are only available to our Members. Generally, you will be able to hear them in our public podcast feed, available on all major providers, the week following their release here.  Occasionally, as with this interview with Mathieu Garon, we publish the video of the interview as well. We invite you to become a member to enjoy these early releases and all our other Premium content.
