Pro Drills: Mirror Saves featuring Carey Price
This Mirror Saves drill has been a staple at the Day with Carey Price run by Eli Wilson.
Itβs typically the second drill during the morning session (there are two on-ice sessions at the day-long event) following a crease movement drill, and is used to help get the hands warmed up. Goalies start in the butterfly and hold an imaginary glove save for three seconds, then come back into the middle and the shooter fires a puck to the glove. Alternate between the glove and the blocker sides, being sure to keep both knees on the ice as you make the saves.
