Tips on Choosing Sightlines behind Moving Screens

As Nashville Predators Goalie Director Mitch Korn says, "In my 34-year NHL career I have always searched for a platform that improves the eyes, improves the processing and makes the training quick, convenient, and effective. Vizual Edge does it all!"

Not only has Talbot become a three-time NHL All Star Game goalie since his Pro Reads debut back with the Minnesota Wild, but he’s also a perfect guest because he credits a big part of that late-career rise to his work with Vizual Edge, which now sponsors the segment, and that training plays a role in this save breakdown.
THE SEQUENCE
What starts as a rush against the Calgary Flames turns into more of an in-zone flash screen after Michael Backlund pulls up on the boards. Talbot gets into both parts of the play because they play a factor, but we’ll focus on the screen for now:

First some context that will become evident in the video below: the Flames and Red Wings players in front of Talbot are moving to his right as Calgary forward (No. 27) Matt Coronato skates in unchecked and loads up from the top of the left circle.
Given all that, what do you notice about Talbot’s positioning and sight line?
What factors do you think matter the most in terms of whether he should hold his vision on the short side of that screen or shift to the middle?
Is there a point you are shifting across to the other side of that screen? Why?
THE SAVE
Watch the play and ask yourself the same questions before we hear from Talbot.
