Where the 5X6 sits in the line
True’s Catalyst goalie family runs from the 5X6 up through the 7X6 and on to the top-end Catalyst Nitro. Senior 5X6 leg pads list at $649.99 CAD, against $1,129.99 for the senior 7X6 and $2,199.99 for the Nitro. That is the gap Kevin and Cam work through in the video: what a goalie actually trades away moving down the line, and what carries over.
What a full set costs
Senior leg pads are $649.99, the catcher is $239.99 and the blocker is $209.99 — $1,099.97 for all three, which puts a complete True set inside the price of a single pair of senior 7X6 pads. For a growing goalie, a backup set, or a first real step up out of a starter kit, that math is a big part of the story.
Sizing, colours and hand options
Senior leg pads come in 32+2" through 36+2". The catcher and blocker are both offered in Regular and Full Right, so a right-handed catching goalie is not pushed up the price ladder just to get a set that fits. Colours run Black, White, White/Black, White/Red and White/Royal across the set, with Red/Black also available on the catcher and blocker.
