Daren Millard.
Host of InGoal Radio. 30+ years in hockey broadcasting, co-host of NHL.com's 100% Hockey, broadcast host for the Vegas Golden Knights, and a practicing goaltender himself.
Daren Millard has spent more than three decades behind a microphone covering the sport he loves, and there are very few people in hockey broadcasting who've done it at a higher level for longer.
Born in Brandon, Manitoba, Daren paid his dues through radio markets across the prairies before making the move to television — first at Global Winnipeg, then as one of the founding voices of Sportsnet, where he spent 20 years anchoring some of the biggest moments in Canadian hockey broadcasting. He hosted Wednesday Night Hockey, Hockey Central at Noon, and the men's ice hockey coverage at the 2010 Winter Olympics, and was on-site for countless NHL Drafts, Trade Deadlines, and Stanley Cup Finals.
In 2019, Daren joined the Vegas Golden Knights as their broadcast host — and has brought that same energy to an already electric franchise ever since. He currently co-hosts 100% Hockey with John Shannon on NHL.com, delivering three episodes every week alongside one of the most connected guest lineups in hockey media.
What's less widely known — and what makes him the right person to host InGoal Radio — is that Daren is a goaltender himself. Not casually: he's a regular practice goalie for the Vegas Golden Knights. That perspective shapes every conversation he has about the position, including a memorable early episode of InGoal Radio with Hockey Hall of Famer Bernie Parent that remains one of the show's most talked-about interviews. He has hosted more than 340 episodes of InGoal Radio, speaking with NHL goaltenders, coaches, and the sharpest minds in the position about the craft, the mental game, and what it actually takes to stop pucks at the highest level.
