GOLD IN THE NET — Developing Confident Goalies Since 1986
For 40 years, Gold in the Net has done one thing: develop goalies. Not just better technique – better confidence, better decision-making, and a clearer understanding of what it takes to grow as a goaltender at any age or level.
What’s changed is how complete the system has become.
The GITN Development Path is a year-round framework that supports your goalie through every phase of the hockey calendar — off-season skill-building, pre-season preparation, in-season refinement, and post-season reset. Whether your child is just starting out or competing at the junior level, there’s a place for them in the Path — and a clear next step when they’re ready for it.
Families don’t just register for a camp. They join a development community that knows where their goalie has been and where they’re going.
THE GITN DEVELOPMENT PATH — How It Works
Off-Season | Summer Camps
The foundation of the Path. Five-day intensive camps running across Alberta, British Columbia, and Alaska give goalies structured ice time, individualized coaching, and a measurable jump in their game before the season starts.
2026 Summer Camp dates available at GoldInTheNet.com
Pre & Post-Season | Mini Camps
Two-day skill-focused camps held at key transition points in the hockey year — typically Christmas break and Spring break. Fast-paced, high-repetition, and designed for goalies who want to show up to the next phase sharper than they left.
In-Season | Clinics & Weekly Training
Development doesn’t stop when the schedule starts. In-season clinics and weekly training sessions keep goalies sharp, address game-specific challenges as they come up, and provide the kind of consistent coaching contact that makes the difference over a full season.
Currently available in Alberta. Coming to additional regions as the GITN network grows.
Year-Round | Book a Coach
1-on-1 and small group sessions with GITN-certified coaches, including former pro goalie Tanner Jaillet — NCAA National Champion and Mike Richter Award winner. Designed for goalies who want personalized attention outside of group programming, or parents who want a coach in their corner to help guide development decisions.
Currently available in Alberta.

Pro Development Program For U15–U18, Junior, and pro-level goalies.
3 hours of daily ice, 1:1 or 2:1 goalie-to-net ratios. Individualized feedback and own net time. Designed for highly competitive motivated goalies, this program models professional training methods. Heavy focus on tough, crease management and puck handling. Cover elements of the four pillars: Technical, Tactical, Physical and Mental. Off-ice development includes vision training, stretching, recovery, and classroom sessions.
FOR PARENTS
We know that choosing the right development program is about more than the ice time. It’s about trusting that your child is in good hands — coached with intention, treated with respect, and genuinely progressing.
The GITN Development Path is built with that in mind. Low ratios mean your goalie isn’t lost in a group. Consistent curriculum across all locations means the quality follows your family wherever you are. And a coaching staff that communicates means you’re never left guessing about where your athlete stands.

🗣️ What GITN Families Say
“My son loves Gold in the Net. He fits in, he thrives being challenged, enjoys learning from the coaches, forges bonds to further his passion as a goalie and inspire him. The ratio is exactly what a goalie needs in the learning experience.” — Mark B.
“I attended the Adult camps in Parksville and Westshore. At 60 years old, I was the oldest on the ice, but the coaches and other goalies made me feel welcome and challenged me to improve.” — Doyle C.
