Spriggs Goaltending
Spriggs Goaltending is a Winnipeg-based goalie development program offering private coaching, camps, and training for all skill levels. We take a goalie-first approach, recognizing that every goaltender is unique. Rather than a one-size-fits-all method, training is tailored to each goalie’s individual strengths, weaknesses, and playing style. The focus is on developing a complete goaltender, refining technical skills while building confidence, mental resilience, and game awareness.
We offer a wide range of programs to help each goalie develop in a way that suits their game. Whether through full season or full summer elite programs, weeklong camps, or individual sessions, our team of coaches provides top-quality training tailored to each goaltender’s unique needs.
Spriggs Goaltending is led by BYRON SPRIGGS who has been coaching for over 15 years in Winnipeg. He played his hockey with the Winnipeg Blues in the MJHL, followed by 5 seasons at the University of Manitoba, and finished playing on a pro tryout with the Manitoba Moose in the AHL in 2019. Since then he has immersed himself coaching full time growing his own goalie programs, and coaching a variety of programs and teams most notably with:
