UPCOMING CAMPS & PROGRAMS
Train with purpose this summer and throughout the season with Travis Hoy Goaltending — elite goaltending development based in Vernon and the Okanagan, built to help goaltenders of all ages and levels improve technically, mentally, and competitively. Led by Travis Hoy, current goaltending coach with the Portland Winterhawks, THG provides a high-level development environment focused on real improvement through detailed instruction, video review, goalie IQ training, skating, reads, movement efficiency, and game application.
Summer 2026 registration is now open, with camps and training running from July through August. Offerings include:
• July & August Elite Camps
• Small Group Weekly Sessions
• Private & Semi-Private Training
• Video Review & Goalie IQ Sessions
• In-season and offseason mentorship programs
THG summer camps are designed to provide high rep, high feedback development with a strong focus on teaching goaltenders to understand how to drive their own development throughout the season. Camps include on-ice technical instruction, hand-eye coordination training, off-ice goalie IQ sessions, video breakdown, mindset development, puck handling work, and individualized coaching feedback. Many sessions are filmed and shared afterward for continued learning and review.
Highlighted Summer Offerings:
• Private & Semi-Private Sessions available throughout July and August
• July 7-9, 14-16, 21-23 – 3 day mini camps – Older and younger groups
• August Elite Full Camps – August 4-7 and 14-16 – Jr/College/U18 Group & U15 and younger group
• Weekly Small Group Sessions in July and August
Small group sessions are intentionally limited to maximize repetitions, teaching detail, and individual attention. Private and semi-private sessions are customized specifically to each goaltender’s needs
This summer’s camps will also feature guest coaches and mentors from high-level junior, college, and professional hockey, including partnerships with InGoal Magazine and appearances from experienced goaltending professionals and players throughout the summer schedule. THG camps continue to focus on creating a professional learning environment while keeping the camps competitive, positive, and development-driven.
