True North Goaltending
At True North Goaltending, we have our own goalie training facility located just south of Edmonton in Nisku, AB. You can come visit us for specialized one on one training, or save on costs by bringing up to 2 other goalies to work with you. We pride ourselves on top quality instruction and we video every session with our goalies, uploading them through the app we use to a private account. We will also be running a 3 day (Jul 29-31) and 5 day (Aug 11-15) camp this summer held at the Ken Nichol Recreation Complex in Beaumont, AB. All of our camps have a maximum ratio of 3 goalies to 1 coach, and for our camps, never more than 12 goalies on the ice at a time. We take a different approach to how our camps are structured, scrapping the traditional stations approach to minimize down time for goalies on the ice. Each of our camps includes 2.5 hours on ice, 1 hour of cognitive training, 1 hour of strength/flexibility training, 1 hour of classroom session, and a provided lunch each day.
