Andre Racicot
André Racicot was born on June 9, 1969, in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, and was selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the fourth round of the 1989 NHL Draft, 20th pick of the round. A left-catching goaltender standing 5'11" and weighing 165 pounds, Racicot spent his NHL career with Montreal, appearing in 68 games and recording 26 wins, 23 losses, a 3.50 goals-against average, a .880 save percentage, and 2 shutouts.
He was part of the Canadiens organization during one of the franchise's final championship runs, serving as backup to Patrick Roy on the 1993 Stanley Cup-winning team.
