Bob Essensa
Bob Essensa was selected by the Winnipeg Jets in the fourth round of the 1983 NHL Draft, seventh pick of the round, out of Toronto, Ontario. Over a 12-season NHL career, the left-catching goaltender appeared in 446 games, recording 173 wins, 176 losses, a 3.15 goals-against average, a .895 save percentage, and 18 shutouts.
Since 2003, Essensa has served as the goaltending coach for the Boston Bruins, a role he has held for more than two decades.
