Brent Johnson, born March 12, 1977, in Farmington, Michigan, spent a decade in the NHL as a left-catching goaltender standing 6'3" and weighing 199 pounds. Selected by the St. Louis Blues in the fifth round, 25th pick, of the 1995 NHL Draft, Johnson went on to appear in 309 regular-season games across stops with the Blues, Phoenix Coyotes, Washington Capitals, and Pittsburgh Penguins.
Over the course of his NHL career, Johnson recorded 140 wins, 112 losses, and 18 overtime losses, finishing with a 2.63 goals-against average, a .904 save percentage, and 14 shutouts. Since retiring, he has moved into broadcasting as a studio analyst for Monumental Sports Network.
