Chris Terreri
Chris Terreri was born on November 15, 1964, in Providence, Rhode Island, and was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the fifth round of the 1983 NHL Draft, third pick of that round. Standing 5'9" and weighing 170 pounds, the left-catching goaltender went on to play 406 NHL games across a 14-season career, recording 151 wins, 172 losses, a 3.07 goals-against average, a .892 save percentage, and 9 shutouts.
Terreri spent the majority of his career with the New Jersey Devils, with additional stints with the San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks, and New York Islanders. He was a member of two Stanley Cup championship teams in New Jersey, winning in 1995 and again in 2000. In 2018, he was inducted as a charter member of the Rhode Island Hockey Hall of Fame. He has since moved into coaching.
