Clint Malarchuk was born on May 1, 1961, in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and went on to play 337 games in the NHL between 1981 and 1992. Selected by Quebec in the fourth round, 11th pick, of the 1981 NHL Draft, the left-catching goaltender stood 6'0" and weighed 185 pounds.
