Corey Hirsch
Corey Hirsch was born on July 1, 1972, in Medicine Hat, Alberta, and was selected by the New York Rangers in the eighth round of the 1991 NHL Draft, 15th pick of that round. He went on to play 108 NHL games over the course of his career, recording 34 wins, 45 losses, a 3.13 goals-against average, a .896 save percentage, and 4 shutouts. The majority of his NHL playing time came with the Vancouver Canucks.
After his playing career, Hirsch moved into goaltending coaching. He served as goaltending coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he worked alongside François Allaire, and later held the same role with the St. Louis Blues.
