Darcy Wakaluk
Darcy Wakaluk was born on March 14, 1966, in Pincher Creek, Alberta, and went on to play nine seasons of professional hockey at the NHL level. Selected by Buffalo in the seventh round (18th pick) of the 1984 NHL Draft, the left-catching goaltender carved out a career that spanned from 1988 through 1997.
Standing 5'11" and weighing 190 pounds, Wakaluk appeared in 191 NHL games, posting 67 wins, 75 losses, a 3.22 goals-against average, a .889 save percentage, and 9 shutouts over the course of his career.
