Dennis Hildeby

Dennis Hildeby arrived in the NHL as a fourth-round selection — 122nd overall — by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, a late-round pick who stood 6'7" and weighed 231 pounds out of Järfälla, Sweden.

Born on August 19, 2001, Hildeby made his way into the Maple Leafs organization and eventually earned NHL ice time, appearing in 20 games for Toronto during the 2025-26 season. Over those 20 appearances, he went 5-7 with a 2.86 goals-against average, a .914 save percentage, and posted one shutout — the lone shutout of his career to this point. That 2025-26 campaign accounts for the bulk of his NHL record, as Toronto provided his primary proving ground at the highest level.

Entering the 2026-27 season, Hildeby joined the Tampa Bay Lightning, where he wears number 35. In his first appearance of that season, he stopped 34 of 36 shots for a 2.01 goals-against average and a .944 save percentage, picking up the win in 59 minutes and 37 seconds of ice time.

Across 27 NHL regular-season games, Hildeby holds a career record of 9 wins, 10 losses, and 4 overtime losses, with a 2.94 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage over 1,429 minutes and 10 seconds of play.
