Elliot Lennon
Elliot Lennon is a goaltender selected by the Ottawa Senators in the fourth round (110th overall) of the 2026 NHL Draft — and the first North American-born goaltender taken in the draft. Born March 5, 2008, the Kirkland, Quebec native came up at Kuper Academy in his West Island Montreal hometown, then chose the U.S. prep route at Deerfield Academy and a commitment to Brown University over major junior, turning down the QMJHL's Québec Remparts, who had drafted him in 2024.
The 6-foot-5 netminder was named USHS-Prep Goaltender of the Year for 2024-25, and improved every season at Deerfield — from a .900 save percentage in 2023-24 to .926, then a career-best .936 in 2025-26. Signature moments included a 38-save shutout of Phillips Exeter and a penalty-shot stop in the NEPSAC playoffs.
Elite Prospects praised his post play and composure: "comfortable on his posts... his composure in tight has also been impressive, maximizing his frame."
