Glenn Healy
Glenn Healy, born August 23, 1962, in Pickering, Ontario, spent 15 seasons as a left-catching goaltender in the National Hockey League. Standing 5'8" and weighing 195 pounds, he appeared in 437 career NHL games, recording 166 wins, 190 losses, a 3.37 goals-against average, an .887 save percentage, and 13 shutouts.
Before his professional career, Healy played college hockey at Western Michigan University, graduating in 1985. After his playing days concluded, he moved into player representation, serving as director of player affairs for the National Hockey League Players' Association. He resigned from that position on September 3, 2009, following the firing of NHLPA executive director Paul Kelly.
