Guy Hebert
Guy Hebert was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the eighth round of the 1987 NHL Draft, 159th overall — a late-round pick out of Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. Born January 7, 1967, in Troy, New York, Hebert is a graduate of La Salle Institute in Troy before going on to Hamilton College. A left-catching goaltender who stands 5'11" and weighs 184 pounds, he went on to play 491 NHL games across stops with the St. Louis Blues, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and New York Rangers.
Over the course of his NHL career, Hebert posted 191 wins, 222 losses, a 2.81 goals-against average, a .909 save percentage, and 28 shutouts. Despite being American, he uses the French pronunciation of both his first and last name.
Following his playing career, Hebert moved into broadcasting and currently serves as associate host on Victory+ for Anaheim Ducks games.
