Jamie Storr was born on December 28, 1975, in Brampton, Ontario, and was selected seventh overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the first round of the 1994 NHL Draft. The left-catching goaltender stood 6'2" and weighed 200 pounds.
Storr spent the bulk of his NHL career with the Los Angeles Kings before also appearing with the Carolina Hurricanes, playing between 1995 and 2004. Over his 219 NHL games, he recorded 85 wins, 86 losses, a 2.54 goals-against average, a .908 save percentage, and 16 shutouts.
