Joni Ortio
Joni Ortio was born on April 16, 1991, in Turku, Finland, and was selected by the Calgary Flames in the sixth round, 21st pick of that round, at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. The left-catching goaltender stands 6'1" and weighs 190 pounds.
Before reaching the NHL, Ortio played in Finland's top professional league, suiting up for TPS and HIFK Helsinki.
