Jordan Sigalet was born on February 19, 1981, in New Westminster, British Columbia. Selected by the Boston Bruins in the seventh round of the 2001 NHL Draft, 13th pick of that round, the left-catching goaltender appeared in one NHL game for Boston in 2006. His brother Jonathan also played in one NHL game with the Boston Bruins.
While playing at Bowling Green University in 2004, Sigalet was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He continued his playing career until 2009, then moved into coaching. In 2014, he joined the Calgary Flames organization as their goaltending coach.
