Karri Ramo
Karri Ramo was born on July 1, 1986, in Asikkala, Finland, and was selected by Tampa Bay in the sixth round (28th pick) of the 2004 NHL Draft. Standing 6'2" and weighing 206 pounds, the left-catching goaltender went on to play 159 NHL games, finishing his career with 60 wins, 63 losses, 18 overtime losses, a 2.85 goals-against average, a .906 save percentage, and 5 shutouts.
Before reaching the NHL, Ramo developed in Finland's SM-Liiga, where he played for the Lahti Pelicans and HPK. With HPK, he was part of the Kanada-malja championship team in the 2005–06 season. He retired following the 2021–22 season.
