Mike Richter
Mike Richter spent his entire NHL career with the New York Rangers organization, from 1989 to 2002, wearing number 35. Born on September 22, 1966, in Abington, Pennsylvania, Richter was selected by the Rangers in the second round, seventh pick, of the 1985 NHL Draft.
Over 666 regular-season games, Richter posted 301 wins, 258 losses, a 2.89 goals-against average, a .904 save percentage, and 24 shutouts. He was part of the Rangers team that won the Stanley Cup in 1994. Richter also represented the United States in international competition on multiple occasions.
Following his playing career, Richter was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2008, alongside former Rangers and U.S. national team teammate Brian Leetch.
