Nathan Lieuwen
Nathan Lieuwen was born on August 8, 1991, in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The left-catching goaltender stands 6'5" and was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the sixth round, 167th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Lieuwen appeared in seven NHL games with Buffalo, posting a record of 1–4–0 with a 2.97 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage. The majority of his professional career was spent in the American Hockey League with the Rochester Americans and San Antonio Rampage. Multiple concussions cut his career short, leading to his early retirement.
