Oscar Dansk was born on February 28, 1994, in Stockholm, Sweden, and was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets with the 31st overall pick — the first selection of the second round — at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. The left-catching goaltender stands 6'3" and weighs 204 pounds.
Over six NHL appearances, Dansk posted a record of 4–1–0 with a 3.10 goals-against average, a .906 save percentage, and one shutout. He most recently played for the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League while under contract with the Anaheim Ducks, and is currently playing for Rytíři Kladno of the Czech Extraliga.
