Oscar Dansk was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on February 28, 1994, and was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets with the 31st overall pick — first pick of the second round — at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. The left-catching goaltender stands 6'3" and weighs 204 pounds.
Over six NHL appearances, Dansk posted a record of 4–1–0 with a 3.10 goals-against average, a .906 save percentage, and one shutout. His most recent NHL-affiliated contract was with the Anaheim Ducks, during which he played for their AHL affiliate, the San Diego Gulls.
