Patrick Lalime
Patrick Lalime, born July 7, 1974, in St. Bonaventure, Quebec, spent twelve seasons as an NHL goaltender before transitioning to a career in broadcasting. Selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the sixth round of the 1993 NHL Draft, 26th pick of that round, the left-catching netminder went on to appear in 444 career regular-season games, finishing with 200 wins, 174 losses, 16 overtime losses, a 2.58 goals-against average, a .905 save percentage, and 35 shutouts.
Standing 6'3" and weighing 192 pounds, Lalime played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Ottawa Senators, St. Louis Blues, Chicago Blackhawks, and Buffalo Sabres over the course of his playing career. He retired from professional hockey in 2011 and joined the French-language television network RDS, where he covered the Ottawa Senators. He has since moved to TVA Sports, where he covers the Montreal Canadiens and the NHL.
