Ray Emery
Ray Emery was selected 99th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the fourth round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Born in Hamilton, Ontario on September 28, 1982, the left-catching goaltender went on to play 287 NHL games over eleven seasons, from 2003 through 2015, recording 145 wins, 86 losses, 28 overtime losses, a 2.70 goals-against average, a .906 save percentage, and 16 shutouts.
During the 2006–07 season, Emery took hold of the starting position in Ottawa and helped carry the Senators to the Stanley Cup Finals — the first Finals appearance in the modern franchise's history. He stood 6'2" and weighed 196 pounds, wearing number 29 throughout his career.
