Reinhard Divis
Reinhard Divis, born July 4, 1975, in Vienna, Austria, became the first Austrian to play in the National Hockey League. The left-catching goaltender was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the eighth round of the 2000 NHL Draft, 32nd pick of that round, and went on to appear in 28 NHL games with the Blues between 2002 and 2006, posting a record of 6 wins, 9 losses, and 1 overtime loss, with a 3.32 goals-against average and a .880 save percentage.
Standing 5'11" and weighing 197 pounds, Divis built the bulk of his professional career in the Austrian Hockey League, where he played from 1993 to 2012. On the international stage, he represented Austria at multiple World Championships and was part of the Austrian national team at both the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics.
