Rick Knickle
Rick Knickle, born February 26, 1960, in Chatham, Ontario, spent the better part of two decades as a professional goaltender, nearly all of it in the minor leagues. Selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the sixth round, 11th pick, of the 1979 NHL Draft, he did not reach the NHL until the 1992–93 season, when the Los Angeles Kings called him up. He appeared in 14 NHL games across the 1992–93 and 1993–94 seasons, going 7–6 with a 3.74 goals-against average and an .879 save percentage. He catches left and stood 5'10", 155 pounds. His professional career ran from 1979 to 1997.
