Rob Zepp

Rob Zepp, born September 7, 1981, in Scarborough, Ontario, spent the majority of a professional career stretching from 2001 to 2015 playing in Europe rather than North America. Selected by a National Hockey League club in the fourth round of the 2001 NHL Draft (13th pick of the round), Zepp's path to the NHL was a long one, shaped largely by seasons in Finland and Germany.

He played two seasons in the Finnish SM-liiga with SaiPa and seven seasons in Germany's Deutsche Eishockey Liga with Eisbären Berlin before receiving his NHL opportunity. That came with the Philadelphia Flyers during the 2014–15 season, when the 6'2", 198-pound left-catching goaltender appeared in 10 NHL games, going 5–2 with a 2.89 goals-against average and a .888 save percentage.
