Tim Cheveldae
Tim Cheveldae was born on February 15, 1968, in Melville, Saskatchewan, and was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the fourth round of the 1986 NHL Draft — first pick of that round. Standing 5'10" and weighing 195 pounds, the left-catching goaltender went on to play 340 games in the NHL, recording 149 wins, 136 losses, a 3.49 goals-against average, a .883 save percentage, and 10 shutouts over the course of his career. He also suited up for the Winnipeg Jets and Boston Bruins before his time in the league concluded.
