Tuukka Rask
Tuukka Rask was selected 21st overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the 2005 NHL Draft, but he never played a game for that franchise. In 2006, he was traded to the Boston Bruins, the organization with which he would spend his entire 15-season NHL career.
Born on March 10, 1987, in Savonlinna, Finland, Rask stood 6'3" and caught left. Over 564 regular-season games with Boston, he posted 308 wins, 165 losses, and 66 overtime losses, along with a 2.28 goals-against average, a .921 save percentage, and 52 shutouts.
Rask was part of the Bruins team that won the Stanley Cup in 2011, when he served as the backup. He subsequently led Boston to the Stanley Cup Final in 2013 and again in 2019.
