Tyrone Garner
Tyrone Garner was selected by the New York Islanders in the fourth round, 83rd overall, in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. Born on July 27, 1978, in Stoney Creek, Ontario, the left-catching goaltender stood 6'1" and weighed 164 pounds.
Garner appeared in three NHL games with the Calgary Flames during the 1998β99 season, recording no wins against two losses and posting a 5.18 goals-against average and a .838 save percentage. The remainder of his professional career, which continued through 2007, was spent primarily in the minor leagues.
