Vincent Riendeau
Vincent Riendeau was born on April 20, 1966, in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec. The left-catching goaltender stood 5'10" and weighed 185 pounds during his playing career, wearing number 30 for much of his time in the National Hockey League.
Riendeau's NHL career ran from 1987 to 1995, during which he appeared in 184 games, recording 85 wins, 65 losses, a 3.30 goals-against average, a .880 save percentage, and 5 shutouts. He played for four franchises over that span: the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Detroit Red Wings, and Boston Bruins.
Following his playing career, Riendeau became the first Canadian and former NHL player to sign with a professional hockey team in the Russian Superleague. As of January 2019, he had been serving as director of goalie development for the Montreal Canadiens.
