Zac Bierk
Zac Bierk was born on September 17, 1976, in Peterborough, Ontario, and was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the ninth round, fourth pick, of the 1995 NHL Draft. Standing 6'5" and catching left, Bierk went on to appear in 47 NHL games across stints with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Minnesota Wild, and Phoenix Coyotes between 1997 and 2004. Over that span he posted 9 wins, 20 losses, a 3.18 goals-against average, a .901 save percentage, and 1 shutout.
After his playing career concluded, Bierk transitioned into coaching. He served as goaltending coach with the Ottawa Senators and subsequently moved into the role of Goaltending Advisor with the organization.
