M​ike Valley was up in the Stars management box on March 10, 2014, the night Dallas forward Rich Peverley collapsed lifelessly on the bench, his heart rate flat lined for close to two minutes.

As scary as it was at time, and as much as it shook every member of the team, it also provided some needed perspective for Valley, who has since had to overcome a heart problem of his own, and his goaltenders.
