The comparisons between Dallas Stars goaltender Anton Khudobin and Tim Thomas, his former teammate with the Boston Bruins, were already too hard to ignore. Similar in stature and style and how those elements stood out as unique in an age of tall, technically driven goalies, those similarities were driven home by another fellow teammate after Khudobin backstopped Dallas to the Stanley Cup Final with a 34-save Game 5 win over the Vegas Golden Knights.
