When co-authors Justin Goldman and Mike Valley launched their new book, The Power Within II, last week, they were kind enough to share an exclusive excerpt highlighting the chapter with Vegas Golden Knight No. 1 Robin Lehner and a section on how he’s slowed the game down visually and mentally by moving less physically.

This week, we’ve got another great excerpt from the book and it features a couple of names already familiar to our Premium Members. It’s from the chapter with Florida Panthers goaltending coach Robbie Tallas, who has already been a part of a dozen Pro Drills and Tips (they’re highlighted at the bottom), and includes a valuable lesson he got from Roberto Luongo, another regular here, about handling pressure and moving on from mistakes.

Make sure you check out the links below for details on how to purchase The Power Within II for instant access to a seemingly endless list of valuable stories and anecdotes on how to improve your mindset and mental game from goalies and coaches like Lehner, Tallas, Pavel Francouz, Connor Hellebuyck, Eddie Lack, Jake Oettinger, Cal Petersen, William Rahm, Noora Räty and Thomas Speer. But for now, enjoy this sneak peek from Tallas:
