James Reimer is back for his ninth Pro Read, and his third wearing Carolina Hurricanes colors.
While it seems likely he may not be with Carolina much longer as a pending unrestricted free agent on July 28, another possible switch to a new team won’t stop us from running the remainder of these, just as we did with the first five from the Florida Panthers.
Reimer is too good in this format to let any of his insights go unseen.
We chose a different style this time, electing to have the always smiling, often self-deprecating Reimer break down a shootout series against the Chicago Blackhawks from this season that included a shaft save and going toe to toe with Patrick Kane. Reimer talks about how he uses video to prepare for shootouts, his approach to playing them and keys to patience.
