We're celebrating one of the most popular sections at InGoal this week with ProReads Week...a new ProRead every day as we push past our total of 180 reads from 30 different NHL Goalies (and counting as we add a new contributor this week).
We've also begun a redesign of the ProReads page with an index where you can find the reads from your favorite goalies. We've added pages from more than a dozen of the best from Carey Price to Thatcher Demko, Linus Ullmark and more.
As new pages get added to index individual goalies, you'll see their names in blue, indicating you can click through for more. There you'll see pages like this one for Thatcher Demko. On top is a player where you can watch each video without going to the full article we write for each one. But if you want the full experience, scroll down for thumbnails of each of his articles that give you direct access to them.
We think ProReads is the best learning experience for goalies of all ages - and we know you'll find them even easier to work with now.
And now, Pro Reads Week kicks off with a two-time Stanley Cup winner making his ProRead debut as Matt Murray gets things going with 8 great minutes on managing screens. It's a masterclass on how to manage a screen with something for goalies of all ages.

presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports
π€ Episode 221 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, features Philadelphia Flyers draft pick Carson Bjarnason of the WHL's Brandon Wheat Kings.
In the feature interview, presented by Sense Arena, Bjarnason walks us through life as the top-ranked North American goalie in the 2023 NHL Draft, from managing questions from teams (and their big-name managers) at the NHL Combine in Buffalo, to the draft floor in Nashville, where the Flyers traded up to pick him in the second round, to his first NHL Development Camps in Philadelphia. There are plenty of incredible takeaways and tips that come from that last part, including some invaluable lessons on managing your on-ice vision habits and reading the play, that you won't want to miss, but Bjarnason also walks us through his roots in the position, including going from a late start as a goalie to the WHL (despite not being drafted as a bantam, another great lesson), how his passion was fuelled by Miikka Kiprusoff and drawing pictures of goalies when he was younger, learning to play the guitar, the evolution of his mental game (and the hazards of being too laid back) and so much more.
It really is a cant miss interview, but that's not all you won't want to miss. While we forego our usual in-person trip to The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, they still helped us bring you a great second guest this week" Kaylie Dankevy, shares a glimpse into her life as the goalie product manager for CCM, and insights into the research behind a couple new pieces of gear in stores now, and some exciting hints at what's still to come, both later this summer and in subsequent seasons.
